So since Max and I went to the IGSA meeting the other day, we were both able to hook up with a couple of companies, Max's is infinitely cooler than mine, but mine is cool nonetheless...sniffle. Anyway, the company is Systest labs, and it is a video game testing company. So what is my point, well today I sent an email thanking the man for taking the time to talk to me and all. About an hour later I got a personal response from the guy asking to see my resume. Now for all I know, there is no current job openings for the company, so more than likely, my resume will either be kept on the back burner for when there is an opening, or my resume will be used to net me an unpaid internship (which I would happily take as well), regardless the point is that the guy asked for my resume. Now I could take this time to take the pessimistic viewpoint and go "well he is probably just being nice and why would he blow off my email." Unfortunately that is probably the truth, but in the chance that it is legit I will be sending my resume to him by the end of the week after I finalize a couple of things. Anyway, onto other news, Max got me hooked on DDO thats Dungeons and Dragons Online for the one person on my friends list that is reading this other than Max:). For some reason I have been playing it constantly (personally I attribute it to a rise in the greenhouse gas around me,) because it couldn't possibly be related to the fact that it is an addicting as hell game and I just... wait... is that... yes I think it is... *shuffles feet* ... ... its a computer in the library with DDO installed on it... *shuffles feet again* .... "GET OUT OF MY WAY!!" *sound of student falling out of chair* ... mwahahahaha yes, DDO... my precious. Okay, so on the bad side, I was talking to Roger today and he made me all paranoid about my new Tv. Now I have always known that Plasma Tv's have a certain lifespan (usually about 20-30 thousand hours) before they start to go and you have to replace them. But he made it seem like the thing was going to go out this year. So in a moment of weakness (and panic) I broke down and got a damn warranty for the thing, believe me that set me back a few bucks. But now the thing is covered for three years unless the damn cats knock it over. Then all of my money will go to euthenizing hehe heh. Anyway onto the better news, I got the final component for my PS3 in the mail yesterday and I fired the thing up; works like a charm I even set up an online account so i can buy little tidbits online. In addition to this I went a pre-ordered my copy of Devil May cry 4 for PS3. I got the collectors edition cuz it comes with an artbook, the first four episodes of the anime and wallpapers and screensavers. From the reviews it looks like the game is 1) Kind of short. 2). not too difficult on human difficulty and borderline impossible on Devil Hunter mode (the next one up)and 3). Repetitive, it seems that once you beat a substantial part of the game you actually have to go back through that entire part of the game again with a different character you even have to fight the same bosses over again, that seems kind of cheap. But on the plus side it is supposed to be an excellent game in all other respects. Regardless I know what I am going to be doing tomarrow. oh by the way...Natalie... dont worry about not being able to get Devil May Cry 4, you can just play it with me or Max sometime (on 1080i no less mwahahahahahaha let the reign of destruction comense hahahaha *ack* *wheez*... ahem... sorry). Okay, sorry for not updating this thing in about six months, I was vacationing in Burma (not really). Anyway, things are going very well for me. The biggest news right now is the addition of a few toys around my apartment. First of all I was able to get a 60 gig PS3 for only $250 with no tax. How did I do it, you may ask? Well my girlfriend's dad used to be in the military and one of the perks of that is that he gets to shop at a store called the BX, this is on an Air Force Base in Colorado Springs, they sell everything that Best Buy sells, only it is cheaper and it is tax free, and the guys gave me the PS3 for half off because it was missing its power cable (which only costs ten bucks), so basically I got a five hundred dollar system (with blue ray player) for about $260 even. Then last night I went to Target and was able to get myself a new TV to go along with this new PS3. Originally I was going to get a 32 inch LCD flat screen TV. But when I got to Target I noticed that they had a 42 inch magnavox PLASMA TV on sale for the exact same price, as we all know plasma is better so I jumped on that thing like Bush on a waring country. Now I have the ultimate bachelors pad except for the fact that I have a girlfriend:) Now I am in a perfect position to play Devil May Cry 4 and Metal Gear Solid 4, looks like 2008 is shaping up to be a very good year. By the way, now that I have a larger TV, I will be getting rid of a Tv, that means: FREE TV!!!!! SO I will be taking the first few applications, the TV is in excellant condition and is about 23 - 25 inches, it has AV cables that work fine but it is not HD or anything like that. Go ahead and hit me up on Livejournal if anybody is interested. Tags: me happy with new tv Me is in...: Englewood Me feels....: ecstatic Me hears...: Typing

To anybody that knows me ( I only have four friends on this damn thing, you all know me) anyway, you may know that I have been philosophizing way too much lately. Basically, you can call it a bad case of over thinking. Well, after getting creeped out by things like "The Matrix" or "The Truman Show", it is very easy to assume the worst. For a while I was concerned about my mental state, hoping that I wasnt schizo or something. well, it was only after i found something that I felt completely better. Here is why: It is easy for me to see a symptom of something and assume I have it (thats what being a hypochondriac is) however, it is entirely different to experience the symptom. So after watching this, my mind is clear of any worry of mental problems (i aint ever going to worry about that again) heres why: Warning - take this thing with a grain of salt cuz it scared the crap outta me, I cant believe that people actually live with this shit 24/7. (ps. perhaps the kitty below should watch this video too) :) http://pmsmicro.com/abcquicktime.htmlWhat a relief, oh well. On to bigger better things. It is my birthday in 3 days I shall be twenty one, I expect my mid-life crisis to kick in any moment now. I bought Bioshock and Overlord today. Havent played Overlord yet, but Bioshock is cool. the game is a lot creepier than one would expect of a first person shooter. So perhaps this is my final post on Livejournal. It kinda depends on what Sparky decides to do. If this is my last post then let me end by flipping you all off (all 4 of you), tee hee, just kidding. Doesnt matter, guess what I'm doing right now??????? I am typing this journal on my brand new computer. It is a nice little Dell XPS with dual core processors, 4gigs of RAM, 500 gigs of hard drive space and a 8800 dual invidia video card (thats a good thing). Vista is nice and pretty too, however, it is kind of like micromanaging your computer because you have to say "yes" to every decision at least twice before the damn thing will work. Example: you: *punching the 'ok' button* "go ahead and close that program." computer: "are you sure?" you: "yes." computer: "positive?" you: "yes fucker just do it." computer: "just asking cuz I had a friend once that..." you: "JUST FUCKING DO IT!!!" computer: "..." computer: "... positive?" okay whatever, free love to all :) Tags: hal, livejournal, vista Me is in...: Englewood Me feels....: accomplished Me hears...: Simpsons

Not that im not content with my sexuality, but I have been playing a bit of "Super Princess Peach." The game is actually pretty fun, except for the fact that it is confoundedly easy, I have yet to see what happens when she dies. Perhaps I should purposely kill her...hmmm...yes, yes, mwahahahahaha. Although, I really think that while it is interesting, the whole "emotion" thing is a little funky. In other news, we had that meeting about confidentiality today. Apparently I was "unique" in the fact that I asked why we were having the meeting. I didnt notice, but I guess the faculty was in shock at my question, hmm oh well. Working on my doctor who project for special effects. Because of that I had to get back into 3ds max. I think that once I do a little texture mapping and buy a faster computer Im going to make the Big Daddy (see below). I know what I want to do this weekend with Sparky... Simpsons movie! It comes out Friday, so we should probably see it early Saturday, or early Friday to avoid any rush. Long live Homer. Candy Hearts suck. Okies, so... two things. One, remember that "Attendance Contest" that I panned a couple of weeks ago. I guess I have to shove my foot in my mouth because apparently I won it. :) I can now go get my gift cerificate...sigh...for either ten bucks of gas, or ten bucks at King Soopers. Why cant they just hand me a ten dollar bill. Ill tell you why, because the school gets endorsements from these places. So its not like the school is giving me a present, they are giving me junk they got for free. I cant wait to leave. Im going to have to go to a different school after this because I havent learned shit. Perfect example of learnign in this place. Right now my whole after effects class is playing Halo right now. In class, all the lights are off and they are all playing fucking Halo. Second, I overheard Nick talking behind me today. He came into the room when he heard that Halo was being played. I heard him talking about some fucking online game. Perhaps thats what got him pms'ing. Maybe he is once again getting so obsessed with a game that he wants to dissociate from the rest of the world. Oh well. Considering his girly antics, and the possibility of this obsession, I have found a portrait of nick online. First of all, I have fantastic news for myself. I dont have to go to school or work monday... ahem... YYYYYEEEEEEEESSSSSSSS!!!!!!!! This is cool cuz now i get a nice little day off to do whatever the hell I want. I dont have to go because the school is supposed to be going to Elitchs that day (if you want to). Naturally Fuck That. However, there is a nice bonus for me because of it. It seems that they were selling discount tickets at the school today and yours truly was able to get two. So now Sparky, should the need ever arise, we can go to Elitchs. Hmmm, it also seems that the new companion for Doctor Who was announced yesterday, lo and behold its Catherine Tate. I just hope that her sense of "judgemental humor" doesnt get in the way. Perhaps Tennant will be able to have himself a threesome when Martha comes back :). Harry Potter and the order of the Phoenix might be worth seeing in theaters...pause...(wait for Sparky to finish throwing sharp objects)...continue, because it will feature the first trailer for the new Batman Movie "The Dark Knight." On another side note, I just found out that Newgrounds isnt blocked at this school. Well at least I wont be bored tomarrow when I pull my double shift. And I just spilled water all over the computer, oops. Ok, seriously, just what the hell is an "attendance contest?" Here are the rules: Westwood is offering $10 (wow, omg, gee wilikers) to anybody who shows up to their assigned class on Jul 2nd, 3rd, 5th, or 6th. If you show up, then your name gets put into a raffle and you might win ten bucks. WHATS THE POINT!!!! Why is this infernal school so hellbent on attendance, all they want is warm bodies to populate the damn place. Who gives a crap about whethere or not we learn anything, all they care about is if we friggin show up. I tell ya, Im half tempted to ditch all of those days just to "stick it to the man". okay, im im okay now. Or at least I would be if that crazy nut med student wasnt in the lab right now. I finally printed up a list of instructions to get to her damn drop box, because I got so sick of telling her.
Anyway, saw Die Hard 4 last night with me mum. Pretty cool, except I was so damned tired I fell asleep through about ten seconds of it (true). It seems that they ran out of money in the final act, because the whole movie was just one expensive stunt after another, except the climax, that was pretty normal, oh well.
However, I was at the edge of my seat not during the movie, but during the previews for the movie, where I got to see the first trailer for the new hitman movie, I even got a new icon to celebrate it. If you dont know what Hitman is, it's a movie based on a very cool game of mine. Yahoo!!!! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hitman_%282007_film%29
